Editing:

This video tells the story of U.S. Marine Cpl. Kyle Carpenter from bootcamp, through his deployment and injury in Afghanistan, his recovery, and ultimately the call that notified him that he would receive the Medal of Honor. Throughout the piece Kyle and his Mother are reading letters they wrote back and forth to each other. Carpenter received the Medal of Honor on June 19, 2014.

This piece was edited by me with the majority of the narration provided through an interview I conducted. Footage shot by the Headquarters Marine Corps Combat Camera team.

Cinematography:

This video is the 2014 Marine Corps Birthday Message, featuring the Commandant and Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps. The birthday message is an annual production showcasing the history and ethos of the United States Marine Corps on the anniversary of their birthday, November 10. I served as lead cinematographer on this project and conducted many of the interviews including assisting in lighting design.
